Project in a weekend 2026

Baby, light my way

This project was shot in Manchester UK on 15th August 2026

Model and collaborator - Lux Kapsaski

Love must be one of the oldest themes of any creative adventure. Poets have suffered for it, lyricists have waxed lyrical over it, and playwrights have held it as the centrepiece of theatrical works for centuries.

The U2 song “Ultraviolet” from the 1990 acclaimed album “Achtung Baby” provided a key thread for this project, and it just wouldn’t leave me alone.

The songs speaks of vulnerability, emotional exhaustion and dependance, alongside redemptive love that provides the rescue. It pits nostalgia against the reality, not as casual love but as a life raft out of psychological darkness.

The song title tips a nod to the invisible spectrum, a strand of light that doesn’t fully illuminate.

In this project we explore the depth and loneliness of love in a long term relationship, one that is sweet and sustains, alongside angst and tears.

Baby, light my way.
